It's My Cake, Not Yours!

Sharing Shpecial!

We share part two every Friday – if your young learners send us their attempts at our Epic Challenge below! Encourage them to get creative if they want to hear how it ends...

Enhanced telling

Our Enhanced tellings are especially designed for advancing readers. But note: we deliberately didn't say "advanced" – your young learners will enjoy these videos at any age from 7+, and will grow their vocabulary as they go!

To see if your young learners picked up the new vocab, show them the list beneath the story.

In our first Enhanced Epic of the new term, we continue our celebration of Roald Dahl Day with a folk tale from his mother's homeland of Norway – though your young learners may spot some similarities between this and the tale from Dahl's home town of Great Missenden

This story's Epic Challenge!

In this Epic Challenge, we ask your young learners to write, draw, and/or video their report on the state of the woman's house – and the state of her heart.

Send us their creations so they earn the end of the story!
